Return

Congratulations to Paul Peterson!

Piedmont friends and family,

We have some bittersweet news to share. Paul Peterson, who has worked as a Physician’s Assistant in the orthopedic clinic for more than a decade, is retiring and moving to Colorado.

Paul and his wife are moving to be closer to their family. Paul has two children and a total of six grandchildren currently living in Colorado. His six grandchildren had been praying that “Papa and Maemae could move closer” so they could see them more often. His grandchildren's prayers are being answered this summer as Paul and his wife have found a way to retire out west.

Paul’s last day at Piedmont will be in mid-July. Paul has impacted the lives of so many of Piedmont's patients throughout the years. He will be greatly missed by our patients and especially by the staff. Each one of us feel lucky to have had the opportunity to work alongside of such a kind-hearted person. We are thrilled for him and his wife as they embark on a happy new chapter, and in such a beautiful place to boot!

We are also thrilled to announce the addition of a new provider, who will be providing the same type of medical care that Paul did. Ashley Peppers, a nurse practitioner, has been training under Paul and will start seeing patients in July.

Ashley earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing from South University.  Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Ashley was a transplant coordinator for LifeLink of Georgia. She also served as nurse in the critical care department at the Medical Center Navicent Health. You can learn more about Ashley on our Provider’s Page (coming soon!).
